This shake is protein packed, full of healthy fats and absolutely DELICIOUS! Great for breakfast, post workout or a healthful treat midday when you can’t fit a meal in.
Ingredients:
- ½ cup shredded carrot
- 1 tbsp ground flax seed
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- ¼ tsp nutmeg
- ½ tsp ginger
- ½ tsp vanilla
- 1 tbsp Udo’s Oil (or quality, unrefined plant based oil)
- 1 cup fall-fat coconut milk
- 1 scoop quality protein (my fave is Garden of Life)
- 1 cup water
Put the first 7 ingredients and ½ cup of coconut milk in the blender and blend until smooth. Add the rest of the coconut milk and the protein and blend again. Slowly pour in the water while still blending.
*If you desire a little more sweetness add pure, raw, local honey or a couple of stevia drops.
